Columbus Knox, a graduate of the Philadelphia Museum School of Industrial Arts (now the University of the Arts in Philadelphia), was a Master of Fine Art.  His paintings depict lush figurative landscapes and places of personal and cultural significance.  Scenes that capture singular moments which speak to history and family memories & experiences.  A masterful mix of pointallism and figuration, Knox's works channel his African American background & heritage.

I have been motivated with the potential of launching Columbus Knox on the world stage as a New Modern Day "Black Master" of Fine Art.  The first of his Acrylic on Canvas Paintings, "Engagement", was offered at Auction on October 6, 2016. The sale result was impressive based on the Estimate set, however that price does not realize the full potential.

Columbus Knox (1923-1999) was my mentor and personal favorite Modern Day "Master Artist" of Fine Art.  He lived a full and colorful life as a prolific painter.
